This talk will explore ideas on how data collection and AI can be used to help, as well as, hurt black communities, tech that’s next in line to make an impact on our communities, and what we can do to make sure our communities stay in the conversation of tech’s impact on society.

Chasity Williams - CEO/Founder (Collective Intelligentsia)

Chasity is the CEO/Founder of Collective Intelligentsia where the mission is to empower people to make personalized decisions that meaningfully enhance their lives. Chasity and her team develop solutions to enhance human intelligence by leveraging Persona-based Intelligence (PI), Collective Intelligence (CI) and Artificial Intelligences (AI). In addition, Chasity has 15+ years of experience in tech and is a recent Executive MBA grad of Northwestern University.

Antwoine Flowers - Data Scientist (Google)

Antwoine Flowers is an experienced data scientist currently on the revenue acceleration team within Google Cloud. A native of the south side of Chicago, he is passionate about the intersection of technology, culture, and community. In 2020 he founded Elegant Theory, a technology design firm. He's also on the board of “A Tribe Called Tech”, a non-profit whose goal is to provide HBCU student opportunities in tech.

Michael Hornsby - Director of IT (Houston Grand Opera)

The Director of IT for the Houston Grand Opera. Before his current role, he was the Director of Infrastructure for a New York City-based apparel company that manufactures Dickies, Nautica, Dockers, and Saucony. With a wealth of experience, Michael, takes teams from good to great.
