    Ashley Hughes

    CO-FOUNDER

    Ashley Hughes is an Engineering Program Manager at Google with 18 years of experience in the tech industry, she understands the key drivers of successful projects, processes, and programs. Ashley believes that effective communication of the "what, when, how, and how often to the right stakeholders is more crucial than simply focusing on scope, budget, and schedule.

    Leveraging her technical background, Ashley has managed a diverse range of strategic
    company projects, including application development, IT security programs,
    software/hardware development, and e-commerce initiatives at Fortune corporations
    such as Google, Target, Academy Sports & Outdoors, and The Home Depot.

    In addition to her extensive project management and IT experience, Ashley is one of the 
    cofounders of Tech for the Culture, a thriving tech community for Black professionals that
    hosts panels, networkings, and speaker series on important topics in tech. She is also
    passionate about giving back to the community and has participated in several events
    such as Target's Reading Buddy Program, Target's Extreme Library Makeover,
    Lemonade Day for kid entrepreneurs, and facilitating workshops at local universities like Rice University.

    Reggie Davis

    CO-FOUNDER/DIRECTOR OF TECHNOLOGY

    Reggie Davis is a Senior Site Reliability Engineer with over 8 years of experience in tech, specializing in incident management, production readiness, and service management. He’s led critical on-call rotations, improved system resilience at scale, and helped teams adopt best practices for high-availability services. Outside of engineering, Reggie co-founded Tech for the Culture 7 years ago—a growing community dedicated to uplifting and connecting Black professionals in tech through events, mentorship, and media.

  • Simone Cyprian

    VOLUNTEER LEAD

    Simone is a project manager with a mechanical engineering degree from Southern University and a passion for empowering communities through technology. She currently works in the cybersecurity industry, where she leads cross-functional projects that drive innovation and impact.

    As Volunteer Lead for Tech for the Culture, Simone is committed to building inclusive spaces, creating opportunities for Black tech professionals, and inspiring the next generation of STEM leaders.n goes here

    AMBASSADOR

    A Information Technology Manager, Engineer, and Analyst with over 20 years of experience, Terry specializes in building secure, efficient, and scalable IT infrastructures, leveraging extensive knowledge in both Windows and Linux. He excels at leading teams, solving complex technical challenges, and driving successful technology initiatives. I am privileged to be the first ambassador for Tech for the Culture.
